Going overseas in time of recession
The Singapore IT market is simply too small, and going overseas should be the long-term goal for small and midsized tech firms. But with the current recession and a credit crunch hitting markets worldwide, is it wise to venture abroad? Costs of travel and investing time and effort learning a new business culture can be prohibitive. Worse, they may not bring immediate results. So, are there practical strategies for SMEs to market and support their ICT products and solutions outside Singapore cheaply and profitably? |
