Aztech is most transparent company

October 2008 – Good investor relations is a key building block of a listed company, says Michael Mun, Aztech CEO and chairman, on his company winning an Investors' Choice award.

The Singapore electronics manufacturer is runner-up for this year's Most Transparent Company Award, given by SIAS, the Securities Investors Association of Singapore.

This is the third time Aztech has won the award, which recognises listed companies that actively promote their investor relations and corporate transparency, to help investors make informed decisions.

“At Aztech, we take pride that our Investor Relations is governed by a well-defined set of processes for prompt and accurate disclosure with much commitment given to further strengthen the relationships with our stakeholders," says Mr Mun.

The company says it produces quality annual reports, constantly updates its online IR site, and broadcasts detailed presentation materials directly to analysts, bankers, fund managers and the media.

The presentation materials serve not only to report quarterly financial information, but more importantly to provide operational updates, new product launches and corporate activities.
