The full-day seminar will provide insights on Indonesia's economy and the country's business environment; it will also provide participants with an overview of the country's tax and legal systems as well as financing options when doing business in Indonesia.

Indonesia is Southeast Asia's largest economy with a nominal GDP of US$450bn, and is the world's fourth-most populous country with almost 240 million people. Indonesia's wealth has largely been derived from the export of agriculture produce and mineral resources from its rural areas.

However, with the onset of industrialisation in and around the large cities, the main drivers of the country's wealth shifted to manufacturing, infrastructure projects, and the services sector. A country where free enterprise is encouraged, its attractiveness as an investment destination has been enhanced by its wealth of natural resources, oil, minerals and metals, hence offering investors a vast market in which to do business.
